After 9 months of pregnancy and not having any alcohol, it was time to unwind with a glass of wine. Yes, I am giving my baby breast milk, but with “baby blues,” anxiety, and lack of sleep, I would have a glass of wine in the evening as recommended by my doctor. But, is it safe . . . will giving my breast milk to my baby after having some wine get into my baby’s system and cause some type of irreparable damage?
Yes, these are the kinds of questions that I ask – remember I am quite anxious and a little obsessive-compulsive. But, I am sure that this is exactly the reason that someone invented this great little test, the Milkscreen Detection Test. Finally, I don’t have to worry about making the wrong decision of whether there is still alcohol in my system, or whether I need to dump out perfectly good breast milk. A test will now give me the answer that shows whether the breast milk contains too much alcohol or not.
This is absolutely a gift to some of us who are crazy about amounts. Besides, this is one of the reasons that I, and many other mothers, had to breast pump as opposed to bringing baby to breast. Now, someone has thought about those of us who crave those absolute numbers.

I am an expert breast pumper and pumped for my daughter for over a year and know the best products out there (if you have any questions about what works best, please contact to me to chat about it)
