Having a hard time getting all the water you need to maintain your breast milk supply? Not everyone is a lover of water, but here are a few ideas to help you either enjoy your water intake just a little or help you remember to get all the water that you need to drink.
- Purchase a gallon size container of water. Continue to refill it each day, keeping it in a prominent place, and drink the entire container throughout the day.
- After each time you use the restroom, immediately drink another glass of water.
- Put bottles of water into your freezer, and take frozen bottles with you and drink throughout the day.
- Empty two packets of your favorite sugar substitute and squeeze and few slices of lemon into your water.
- Add a splash of your favorite juice (orange, pineapple, grape, etc.) to your water.
- Freeze your favorite juice in ice trays and drop a couple into your glass of water.
- Freeze fruit pieces (grapes, cherries, etc.) and place into your water as instead of ice cubes.
- Add a couple of peppermint candies to the ice in your water.
- Stir in a little maraschino cherry juice into your water with a couple of maraschino cherries
- Adds a splash of virgin drink mix (margarita, strawberry margarita, or pina colada) into your water.
- Add a small amount of non-alcoholic wine to sparkling water.
- Add small amount juice to sparkling water.
- Add a small amount of cola (Coke, Dr. Pepper, etc.) to sparkling water.
- Add a small amount of one of the many Torani or Davinci syrups to your water.
